Material and construction

The jacket (kimono) is made from 420 GSM pearl weave cotton. This weave style is known for balancing strength and weight: pearl weave is grip-friendly enough for your training partner to get a hold, whilst remaining light and breathable. The trousers are made from 8oz ripstop cotton-polyester, which provides high tear resistance in the most stressed areas such as the knees and seat. The reinforcements on lapels, knees, sleeves and other stress zones ensure the gi can withstand intensive rolling sessions, year after year.

• A1 – height 1.65 – 1.72 m / weight 65 – 75 kg
• A2 – height 1.72 – 1.80 m / weight 75 – 85 kg
• A3 – height 1.80 – 1.88 m / weight 85 – 95 kg
• A4 – height 1.88 – 1.95 m / weight 95 – 110 kg
• A5 – height from 1.95 m / weight from 110 kg

Keep in mind that the gi may shrink slightly during the first wash. If you're unsure between two sizes and fall into the upper segment of a size, choose the larger variant. Wash the gi in cold water and hang it to dry to minimise shrinkage.

Care

Avoid high temperatures to limit shrinkage and keep the material in top condition. Wash the gi after every training session to prevent bacterial growth and skin irritation – a golden rule in BJJ.
